About Daniel Taylor, Founder and Artistic Director
Daniel Taylor is an award-winning actor, theatre producer and director who was born, and lives, in Liverpool. He trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Daniel’s acting career has spanned over 25 years and has seen him playing the role of Sammy in Blood Brothers (West End and national tour) and Mickey in Alan Bleasdale’s 40th-anniversary production of his play Down the Dock Road (Royal Court, Liverpool), as well as many Television roles.
Recently, he toured the UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA in the title role of Lennon: Through a Glass Onion, a role for which he received critical acclaim and overwhelmingly positive audience response.
Daniel has produced, directed and performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo and Juliet. His other directing credits include A Taste Of Honey, Macbeth and An Evening with Shirley Ballas.
Daniel is also a highly-respected singer-songwriter, who has performed and recorded internationally. Daniel has produced and is currently playing the title role in his one-man show The Very Best of Tommy Cooper.
